New functionalities: little Request will go far!
Last October, E-180 got revamped with a new design, new features and a new overall user experience. For one year, we collected your comments and questions. We reflected on how to offer you a tool more suited to your needs and your personal use.
Why change the system?
To make learning more dynamic! Now, each Request has a time limit of 30 days. Don’t worry; you can renew them at the end of the 30-day period if you did not find the teacher you were hoping for. To do this, simply click on the little plus + at the bottom right of the Request you wish to renew.
By clicking on Renew, the Request is put back online for another 30 days. A few days before the expiration date, you will receive an email asking you if you still want to learn about this subject. The idea behind this feature is to make you work a little when a Request arises, rather than leaving Requests inactive on E-180. More than anything, this is a useful tool for sharing!
To give more visibility to your Requests (and your offers), you can now share them via email, Facebook and Twitter. Who knows, maybe the person who can teach you how to grow peanuts is somewhere around you!
Whilst browsing the Offers and Requests on E-180, you see one that would interest your sister in law. She’s wanted to learn to dance rockabilly since, well, forever, and Claudia offers just that on E-180. By clicking on the +, you can choose to send the offer by email, or via Facebook and Twitter by tagging it.
Or, what if you see a Request that could be filled by your neighbor who makes the best Christmas cake in town? Why not send the Request to him and ask him if he wants to spend an hour of his time with a Member to explain his delicious recipe?
You can always contact me if you ever have questions and/or comments on how to use E-180.
